UiPath to Invest $20 Million to Accelerate RPA and AI
UiPath made a $20 million commitment to support its partners in their efforts to accelerate the democratization of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and deliver on the true benefits of AI in the enterprise.
UiPath CEO and Co-founder Daniel Dines addressed approximately 500 partners from across the Americas and articulated the company’s strategic imperatives to design automation that is easy-to-use, open and extensible, and which ultimately offers the best path to AI across customers’ digital business operations. Dines also declared that partners are at the center of these imperatives and key to meeting and accelerating the skyrocketing demand for RPA and AI.
UiPath’s $20 million investment will go toward two partner-focused funds to support their success in 2019:
- The UiPath Venture Innovation Fund includes investments in AI-focused partners with expertise in machine learning, business process management (BPM), process mining and intelligence. Investments will also go toward chatbot companies and others startups that commit to simplifying and speeding integration with UiPath.
- The UiPath Partner Acceleration Fund is designed to help global partners inspire and support automation and AI innovation across go-to-market and enablement activities, complement technology investments and accelerate enterprise-wide RPA adoption.
In addition, UiPath is launching Technology and Business Partner Programs for all partners globally. A new Partner Portal enables deal registration and provides access to marketing, sales and technical assets and tools to accelerate the RPA journey for partners and their customers.
“Our Partner Forward conference is just a small part of a big investment we’re making to become the preferred partner of choice,” said Chris Morgan, global vice president, partners and alliances, UiPath. “Backed by a $20 million investment in just the first year, UiPath is making a serious commitment to accelerating our partners’ RPA and AI capabilities, as well as their ability to deliver vertically-oriented solutions. At the same time, the company is fueling an ecosystem that delivers simpler and radically faster automation outcomes for all customers.”
“UiPath’s focus on ensuring partner success has been remarkable – everyone from the partner team to technical staff and senior management,” said Ahmed Zaidi, managing partner and chief automation officer of Accelirate. “The new programs have all the right ingredients to ensure a successful and fast client implementation. We congratulate UiPath on its phenomenal success and look forward to working with them in their mission of Accelirat-ing automation!”
